I draw inspiration from the ever-changing effects of weather and light. I use colour and texture as both a starting point and a form of language to express the profound vitality of nature. 

My work reflects the places I have visited, and I try to re-create the atmosphere I felt at the time. My art is a fusion of nature, colour and emotion, seeking to evoke not only the landscape, but the feeling that goes with it.

My handmade sterling silver jewellery is inspired by texture & movement.  My pieces are made to catch the light, to move when you move, and to make them come to life. 

I start with an idea plus sterling silver sheet and wire. I cut by hand using a fine-tooth fretsaw, then add a range of textured with hammers, acid, heat etc. A personal favourite is reticulation, bringing the pure silver to the surface to create random relief on the item.
