Hi, I’m Susan and I’ve been painting furniture for nearly 40 years. It started as a hobby at craft fairs, but then I needed to make some money! So I scoured house clearance places, charity shops, boot sales, Ebay and Marketplace for interesting pieces of furniture that needed some TLC – sometimes a lot of TLC! And that’s how Sue Davies Design Studio began. I then got into painting murals and trompe l’oeil, but furniture was always my first love.
