Simon Clements

Simon is a sculptor and printmaker working from his rural garden studio. Working with materials such as clay, wax, wood steel and polystyrene. Simon creates ambiguous sculptural forms inspired by the natural world. His sculptural work explores the chameleon properties of materials such as wood and polystyrene. Challenging perceptions of how things appear by working within the theatrical tradition of woodcarving and by exploiting the potential of patinated polystyrene.
