Keith Appleby

I work with wood mainly using a lathe and supplemented by carving. I mostly produce hollowed sculptural forms which explore the natural patterns and textures that are found in the wood. Although I can, and do, produce more conventional turned objects such as bowls, boxes and vases my main passion is sculpture.
