I am an amateur potter who took up this pursuit after many years in teaching languages. I make both useful and decorative items, preferring to paint in underglaze colours rather than glazes so that my pieces tend to be individual items that are not often repeated. I take inspiration from nature but also enjoy visiting galleries and museums for inspiration.
