Meet The Artists
Emma Louise Payne
Inspired by the shapes, textures, quirks and irregularities found in nature. I handcraft my jewellery from gemstones and recycled precious metals. Reflecting the organic texture and forms created by the natural world my unexpected, sculptural designs range from strong, energetic pieces to refined lace work.
Bespoke commissions and remodelling of heirloom jewellery is my passion so if you have a project in mind please come and and chat

Mathew Gardner
Bespoke handcrafted wooden items. From small practical items to unique and unusual interior design pieces. Combining unusual materials with the wood, creating a contemporary aesthetic to a heritage skill.
Leighan Thomas
I'm a studio potter making wheel thrown functional pieces and, more recently, handmade coiled, pinched and slab pots. My work has a simple aesthetic that focuses on form and functionality, with surfaces inspired by those found in nature. Influenced by the rawness of the clay; with a restricted palette and a desire to make marks, imprints and allow texture to have a say.
Marie Robinson
Marie’s work is contemporary realism in oils, rooted in the traditional techniques of representational oil painting and underpinned by close observational drawing. She is particularly known for her still lives which often feature everyday domestic objects and she also enjoys including natural treasures collected on walks in countryside and coast.

I experiment with outdoor firing methods using wood for pit firing gas for low temperature saggar firing and also Raku style firing.
Sometimes the results resemble elements found in the natural world

Anna Brooks
I am a photographer and director living in London and from Brighton. I like to use photography as a way of experiencing the world around me, capturing quiet moments I notice in life. Photography gives me the opportunity to explore new places and connect with new people which I am very grateful for. I predominantly shoot on film and I enjoy how the process forces me to slow down, and take my time over a picture.

Maria Chapman
