Sarah Luton

I work mainly in oil but love drawing in charcoal. I work en plein air where possible, enjoying the challenges of changing light and weather conditions. I believe the experience of full emersion in my surroundings, taking in the sounds and smells, along with direct observation, helps me capture the atmosphere for my painting. Recent works include studies of water.
