Marie Robinson

Marie’s work is contemporary realism in oils, rooted in the traditional techniques of representational oil painting and underpinned by close observational drawing. She is particularly known for her still lives which often feature everyday domestic objects and she also enjoys including natural treasures collected on walks in countryside and coast.
Since graduating in 2002 Marie’s work has been exhibited and sold nationally & internationally, notably being selected for the RA Summer Exhibition 2023 and the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition on 7 occasions, winning the ING Staff Purchase Prize in 2014.
Marie has been based in Oxfordshire for 38 years and currently works from her studio in Turville in the Chilterns
