Exotic animals and landscape photography are two of my favourite subjects though I have also sold many animal portrait paintings. Currently I am creating paintings of reptiles such as the highly colourful Madagascan Day gecko and the characterful Tokay gecko, in conjunction with words that define key characteristics. As an animal lover, I am interested in seeking to represent their personalities. I use acrylic on canvas rather than oil paint so I don't harm any of our live subjects.
